What’s a Bonnagar?

Bonnagar (rhymes with “jogger”) is rooted in the Gaelic phrase bonn eagar (“base arrangement”), or bonneagar (“infrastructure”) in modern Irish.  And infrastructure, in some circles, relates to the physical underpinnings of our built environment.  More broadly, infrastructure  comprises all the resources and social/political systems – the base arrangement – needed to support the functioning of any organization.

Here at Bonnagar, we operate at the nexus of both these definitions.

Many of our clients plan, design, build, manage and maintain the world’s physical infrastructure assets – industrial, commercial, institutional and residential buildings; water, waste, power and communication utility systems; airfields, bridges, rail and road networks; etc.  Bonnagar offers a suite of key services and exceptional depth of knowledge in optimizing performance of those infrastructure-related tasks.

We are also passionate about helping our clients optimize their own infrastructure, in whatever industries they operate.  We serve not merely as consultants, but as trusted advisers – partners in identifying and harnessing untapped potential; imagining and implementing process improvements; overcoming strategic challenges.  We aim to add exceptional value by working as one with our clients – in exceeding the expectations of customers/clients, employees, owners and other stakeholders; and ultimately achieving their most aspirational corporate goals.
